In the year 2014, Carl Johnson, who was a gang member, was forced to leave behind the chaotic streets of Los Santos, San Andreas, a city that was experiencing extreme gang violence, drug abuse, and corruption. The area where both millionaires and celebrities tend to walk shyly, in a way that avoiding dealers and gang members.
Now, in the early 1990s, Carl is forced to come back home due to a significant personal reason. Tragedy has dowered him with grief and agony as a corpse of his mother lies in front of him, his family ruined and his childhood friends going down the drain.
Once in here, Carl tangled himself in a web of lies spun by corrupt law enforcement who mistakenly accused him of a crime he didn’t commit. Forced by circumstances to do something, CJ begins an adventure that will last the whole game and involves saving his family from the threat of chaos and taking control of the streets.
