You can create notes that contain text and images with footnotes, audio recordings, and music. In addition, you can easily share your notes with SNS.
Any previously made notes from S Note and Memo can also be imported into Samsung Notes.

Create notes
Tap the + icon at the bottom of the Samsung Notes home screen to create notes.
Block Notes
1.Press the More Options button on the Samsung Notes home screen and select Settings,
Then select Lock Notes to create a password.

Add text
Tap the keyboard icon at the top of the screen to enter text with the keyboard.

Add handwriting

Handwritten text can be recognized. You can also use handwriting to search for keywords in notes.
Add charts
Tap the drawing icon at the top of the screen to create drawings.
Add photo and audio recordings
Tap the image icon at the top of the screen to insert images.
Tap the audio recording icon at the top of the screen to insert audio recordings.
Use pen settings
Choose from different types of pens, sizes and colors.
Clear handwriting
Tap the eraser icon at the bottom of the screen, then tap or drag your finger on the handwriting you want to delete.
Use selection mode
Tap the selection icon at the bottom of the screen, then select a handwriting area.
You can then move the selected area, adjust its size, and much more.
Use brush settings
Choose from different types of brushes and colors.
Tap the selected brush to see the brush settings again and change more settings, such as size and opacity.
Tap the color icon, then select the color you want to draw in.
Using the smart key.
Use Smart Switch to import S Note and Memo data from other devices.
Using a Samsung account.
1.Press the More Options button while on the Samsung Notes home screen, select Settings, and then select Import Data.
2.Select the saved data from S Note or Memo with your Samsung account and then click the Done button.
Sync notes via Samsung Cloud
1.Press the More Options button while on the Samsung Notes home screen, select Settings,
Next, select Sync to Samsung Cloud.
2.Register with Samsung Cloud or sign in with your Samsung account.
Samsung Notes data will be synced automatically.
Create notes while the screen is off
Disconnect the S Pen while the screen is off to create screen notes outside.

• Phone: used to verify the unique identifying information of the device to provide the application update
• Microphone: Used to record the sound to be inserted into the note
• Camera: Used to take photos to insert into the note
• Contacts: Used to read account information to sync with your account
